Jackson Hole

We chose to do this particular photoshoot in Jackson Hole following the Arc’teryx Academy in February. An annual gala within our product and creative team to pull together a big project in a few short days to launch of the new products for the ski collection. The goal for the outdoor portion has always been to shoot real people, doing real adventures in the real world. I used to shoot one outfit per week but as the schedule gets more full we now shoot all products in a week. We carry the clothes, skin where we need to get to and just shoot a fun day out in the mountains together.

My favourite part of this shoot is that along with the Arc’teryx athletes, we also chose to use a bunch of locals from Jackson Hole. I have the greatest respect these people, as I’m sure it can’t be easy to suddenly model product in front of a professional camera for a big brand like Arc’teryx. I feel grateful to all of them who came out and did an amazing job.
